Day 2: Belgrad -> Thessaloniki - Greece is simply Greece :D

Hello together,

today, one day faster than last year and on a shorter route, we've made it to Greece again - we've reached Thessaloniki today :D

But let us start slowly:

Thanks to the charger at the Holiday Inn in Belgrad we got the chance to start completly charged :D

Just some meters before the Serbian / Bulgarian border, a short break was needed ;)

Welcome to Sofia:

and the one and only 50kw charger.... There are a lot more 22kw charger within Sofia but only this one was / is able to charge with 50kw...the only drawback, it is on the other side of the city and you will need 40min in one direction from the highway to the charger...

One good thing to know: There is a local company with more than 55 cars and it looks like all of them try to charge there... In our case, 3 cars where in front of us waiting for the ChaDeMo charger ;)

Finally and fully charged (80%) we traveled on...

and we've manged to find another ChaDeMo only ~60km away from Sofia on the way down to Thessaloniki :D It was also charging full speed with ~50kw

With our thoughts already at the next and last ChaDeMo before the border to Greece we left... only to find out that this charger was blocked by 2 chains of a local Peugeot dealer :/ so no more charging before entering Greece :/

and finally we reached Greece :D

Afterwards some impressions from Thessaloniki without the really very very busy traffic for an Austrian guy ;)

Polis Park where we charge our car for our ride to Athens tomorrow.

Since some failure in planning happend, we've to hypermile to Athens tomorrow -> 505km with a 90D - possible but only with 100km/h or less ;) Maybe we meet tomorrow some other EV colleagues :D Let's see :D
